- On March 31, PhD candidate
Matteo
Formenti will defend his doctoral Thesis "New GO- and
RGO-based MORALs and carbene functionalized gold nanoparticles for
heterogeneously catalyzed reductions" in front of the Examining
Committee for the PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the University
of Milan, Italy.
Members of the Committee are Professors
Francesco
Ferretti, University of Milan,
Dmitry Yu Murzin, Åbo
Akademi University, and
Gianvito
Vilè, Polythecnic of Milan.
Tutors of the PhD candidate are Professor
Cristina
Della Pina, University of Milan, and
Mario
Pagliaro, Italian Research Council.
The defense will take place at the Dept. of Chemistry of Milan's
University (Room G10, via Golgi 19) starting at 14.30.
Presenting the outcomes of three years of intense and truly
successful research work, partly conducted also in the USA in the
Lab of Professor
Bert Chandler,
Matteo will thus defend his written dissertation at an oral
examination at the end of his doctoral journey.
