Matteo
Formenti successfully defended his doctoral Thesis "New GO-
and RGO-based MORALs and carbene functionalized gold nanoparticles
for heterogeneously catalyzed reductions" in front of the
Examining Committee for the PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the
University of Milan, Italy.
The defense took place at the Dept. of Chemistry of Milan's
University (Room G10, via Golgi 19).
Matteo presented the outcomes of three years of intense and truly
successful research work, partly conducted also in the USA in the
Lab of Professor

Akademi University, and
Gianvito
Vilè, Polythecnic of Milan, mentioned "excellent" in their
report to the University recommending granting of the PhD title to
Dr Formenti.
