ChemSocRev publishes our feature article elucidating the chemical effects of molecular sol-gel entrapment. The article is #2 of a trilogy started with our paper "Better Chemistry Through Ceramics: The Physical Bases of the Outstanding Chemistry of Ormosil" published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry B on the physical effects of sol-gel encapsulation.

Both will be followed by the third -- and perhaps the most subtle -- paper entitled "On Form Dictating Function: Structural Aspects in Silica-Based Functional Materials", on the materials' shape effects on the chemistry of these fantastic materials.
