The Future of Glycerol:
New usages for a versatile raw material (Workshop)

Mario Pagliaro, co-author of The Future of Glycerol, presents the numerous uses of glycerol as a new raw material directly at your company or in the nice city of Palermo.

The course combines lecture and discussion. The optimal class size is between 5 and 10, but this tutorial can be structured to accommodate any number of participants.

The course in intended for industry's top and R&D managers as well as consultants, research chemists and engineers. Attendees are not limited to chemistry specialists; rather general, marketing and product managers can benefit as well.

A large surplus of glycerol byproduct of biodiesel production has entered the chemical market causing closure of existing glycerol plants and the discovery of processes that use glycerol as a raw material for the production of value-added chemicals and of energy.
